It was loud! I had to keep the mic gain down to keep the mic from farting out on the shitty camera and I gave my mom the computer that had my iMovie on it so I couldn't go in and bump up the volume. I'll have to find the cd with the program on it and fix it then reupload.

Dude.
Man I would love to attempt to play with ya but
A: I have no amps that could come close to keeping up with you.
B: I wouldn't even know where to start at tuning my bass to dropped F.

We could def use a bassist when we start on this project.

a) That's fixable

I might now where theres a sunn 4x15 you could use to start you off.
b) 35" scale, a balanced string set with a .190 low string, and a setup from me.

YOu could tune up a half step like meshuggah does. their bassist plays higher than the guitars. thats how they get that ultra punchy sound.

Tune higher?
That... that just won't work....
That's actually why I wanted to find a key's / bass synth player instead of a bassist. No worries about tuning issues.

Dude I wish we had time to set up my guitar gear on Sunday so you could have given the big rig and the 7 string a rip.
On second thought that might not have been a good idea, you could have lost all hope with your current rig.....

I'm quite surprised though honestly, how loud the Sovtek gets through a 1x12. It's definitely louder than any other amp I've tried through a 1x12
But refridgerator amps always will have a special, out of reach place in my heart

I believe it, Sovtek's were not exactly known for being bedroom amps or for the weak of heart!
Awwwww, one day my friend, one day. You should make it your life goal to buy a house so you can house your big amps!!!

Yeah, I really want to own a house sooner than later. I'd like to move from a job to a career before I do it though, just so I don't have to relocate later on down the road. BUT I WILL HAVE A DOOM ROOM OF MY OWN

^ I feel ya bro. everything I own is cramped into a real small room I pay WAY too much for. IN fact im loosing that too soon, having a doom room is a lifelong goal for all of us.
