How has the MXR Micro Chorus not been mentioned yet? I got mine for $55 (used, granted), and does everything from subtle flange-y tones, typical 80s chorus, and a dece Leslie simulator when cranked, and it's all analog and true bypass? Best quality-vs.-amount-paid I've ever had.

I dunno how some of the brands and pedals mentioned in this thread represent "cheapies" (the OP's word). I appreciate the USA stuff is bit more costly to buy in the UK but even so. BBE, MXR, etc? Cheap? Really? I'd call them high end, non-boutique. I wish I could so easily afford such gear.

MXR is cheapie stuff here. $60-70 street new for most of it. BBE is discounted heavily, very very heavily. It doesn't sell well so it ends up being very cheap.
Same way a lot of EHX stuff is dirt cheap used.
Markets vary substantially.

Absolutely. That was the first pedal I ever got, and it's not left my board in close to four years. The best of the budget drives IMO

yeah, this. I got my BBE Soul Vibe brand new from a store for 82 bucks and free shipping. Hard to beat that for cheapz. I can't imagine how that shop made any money on that.

MXR fucks the non-american market hard. Ever wonder why Prymaxe can't ship MXR internationally?
