The Castle Entrance is a good place to farm candies if you don't feel like waiting around for it to stack naturally, or you want to sit and click a potion button. It runs out of mobs eventually and let's you in.

Meanwhile, when I have time, I have a plan for the dragon: Lots of seeds for candy trees to hide behind and lots of earthquake scrolls. Think it might work?
