I used to be really into buying music. But then I stopped buying music to buy gear.
I don't really spend money on anything else but gear and food anymore...

so at the moment it's mostly just guitar/music gear and i try to sell what i'm not using so it's not hanging around.
there is always an evergrowing pile of films/music/books which i try to keep in check though.

i don't know about pens but i do admit that i cant resist buying cute little notepads and sketchbooks and .... torches, little led torches :)

will treat myself to a new bicycle very soon

at the moment i already have enough clothes that i never wear so been pretty good at not buying any more of those

Notebooks are also very important for fountain pens and the inks i use as some have oils and not any paper will do...i don't buy any notepads unless they have Clairfontaine paper - which really limits my choice to either Clairfontaine which look crap or those orange Rhodia pads.

as for bicycles...I had this baby last year but sold it after a few hair moments followed by the news that i was going to be a father...so sold it and now i walk a lot!

Oh, I don't write in 'em. I just keep a stack of 'em in my pocket.

So, all the chickies say, "Are those some Clairefontaines in your pocket or're you just happy to see me?"

records

smokes

booze

shitty coffee

I also only really shop at thrift stores and I think I dress pretty well

I got a pair of old 60s chelsea boots and a knit sweater with an embroidered native american on it, each for like $5, try to beat that level of swag to price ratio

Not really that much for alcohol as i used to - somehow being a father cuts in here. But i spend more on stuff for my Boy than the mentioned Things above....
