This!
Never tried couch but I have one of these (sorry for megapic):

Really durable and comfortable but still light and thin, only downside is the metal thing is way solid and it can ding your guitar if you're not careful (it's happened to me 3 times

)
Plus the underside is suede so it won't slip back and forth like leather/vinyl straps tend to do (could be a good or bad thing for different people but I like it)
They cost like $65 new, which is a lot for a guitar strap but they're handmade and feel way nice, was worth it for me

Are the Couch Racer straps slippery? I feel like I need suede to prevent neck dive.

most of my electric guitars have run-of-the-mill 2" Levy's suede straps in coordinating colors. i really like the looks of Soldier straps, and will probably get them for one or both of my acoustics.

FWIW, I used a couple deadstock Couch straps with that Mustang and they rule! Had both the grey plaid Mustang trunk liner one and the Gaphite Western, love both.

Agreed, those Grolsch washers are great. I also love the oversized strap buttons. Prefer either of those to traditional strap locks.
