THAT'S GROSS TOM... I love it... Now I need to go get that Squier Cyclone I saw at the Pawn Shoppe...
The Ibanez Talman had sweet Lipsticks back in the day... We found out the guitar was made of cardboard and sawdust when my friend destroyed one in a parking lot after a gig though...

Next step in the project! I really didn't want to do this, but the bridge has to go. Yeah, it feels a little cheap, but that's not the problem (it feels a bit like the trem arm might break, like it doesn't exactly fit in the threaded hole)...but the problem is that the height adjusting screws that want to shred my hand. I hate this kind of bridge design, when the height adjusters stick above the bridge and make palm-muting, or even resting your hand on the bridge, extremely uncomfortable. :/
you're going to put a floyd on it aren't you...

Always wanted a yellow Fender Cyclone.

Would've taken the blue one if it didn't have the racing stipe.

LOL, well the bridge IS shit. Trem arm is broken...I saw on another forum that I'm not the first person to get a Marauder and have the trem arm break within the first few hours of playing. Can't afford to upgrade the bridge for a bit. We'll see what Fender says.

Duuuuuuuuude - that thing is wild! I've never really considered lipsticks before, but they look great there. Definitely post clips when it's up & running proper. I'd live to hear it in action!

Think I would've taken this one even with that racing stripe.

Follow-up...at first I thought the trem arm somehow got stripped, despite not over-tightening. Turns out, the reason the trem arm was hard to move wasn't the threads being stripped--the trem arm
bent down near the base, after a short time of hardly using it. Then just snapped off. The other guy with a Marauder had the same exact thing happen to his.

Yeah, I guess I could've gotten over it. Looks hotter than I remembered.

Hahaha, you're awesome!
If you want the guitar for nothing but scorching fury, the Triplebucker is great!
I'd probably put some kind of splittable rail in the neck...
If I were modding it and wanted something a bit less crazy, I'd do a P-Rails in the bridge, no question (with a switch for humbucker, p-90, rail).
Are you changing the pickups?

Some one should track down three of them and do it proper...
