nah that's just plain silly. My old tube amps always run on some obscure Moscow military grade tubes that the Russians used in Radio transmitters and stuff. Perfect for loud, bassy amps. Bought a box (something like 30 or fifty of them) with a friend back then for something like 20.00 Fmk = about ...3.5 Euros.
