I am going to throw this out there...how about Tampa. It has a ton of venues. Metal still has roots in that city. It is kind of a working class city, lots of good jobs. Tons of hot girls. it's on the bay, the gulf is close, St. Pete and Clearwater. In fact the 3 cities are essentially connected. Housing isn't outrageous. The weather stays pretty nice and it's not as fucked up as Miami-Ft.Lauderdale.

I used to play the Brass Mug often.

I went there to see a couple shows when i was in hikeschool. Living in fl the only choices were really state theater or brass mug unless somebody cool was playing orlando.


Also i want to add to anyone potentially moving to the carolinas/ga area... WE DO NOT HAVE 7 ELEVENS. I know I know its ridic but thats just how it is and i doubt its going to change. If youre the kind of person that isnt phased by this then im not your friend.

From my casual observation from DC, I'm thinking Baltimore might be promising.

I'll agree Denver doesn't have much Drone Metal stuff. but there's some decent noise going on that doesn't sound like "dub step"

Honestly, there isn't really a noise scene here that I know of but as far as living here it's pretty nice and not terribly expensive. Public Transportation is pretty solid too if you don't want to deal with a car. It's kind of hipsterish but the population is generally made up of decent people.

Definitely not Kansas. That's where I live and I assure you, it's not cool.
