I am super stoked about this, and also recognize that the pedal board vomit I usally throw up every few weeks will not make the cut.

Seems like we need to decide
A. how many category's. I think no more than 4. Three 'standard' ones, and then the ILFcentric or something.
B. what we choose for category's
C. if there will be prizes of any sort and what they would be. I might be able to contribute a pedal or something.

I though Small / Medium / Large and ILF Centric were good
would small be Under 8 pedals Medium 8-14 and Large anything over??

Med: 7-12

everybody posts their favorite board - not their own, though - in this thread. That's the first thing. Then peeps give votes to favorites, possibly in different categories. And if they will be tagged, we might have to have a fixed set of categories, pulled of the hat? Right?

And? We give him a banner/ custom avatar text. For example. Perhaps.

Yea, 4 categories seems generally agreed. 3 size ones and then something special, like ilfcentric, or most aesthetically pleasing, etc.
I think we need a new thread, for people to post the board they would like to submit with the category it falls under. This allows people to make a board best suited for the need (if they want), while not allowing the same person to dominate each category. Also making things easier for the ones voting.

It is too much to go through the whole CUrBoard, is that general consensus? I kinda liked the idea of just nominating people that posted over the last year. But it would be a freaking lot of work to actually go through all that. Or stuff would be missed. But some things are sure. Like Space Flunky would get my nomination for aesthetically pleasing. From the last couple of days SmallEQ is a strong contender for the small category etc. I think I could find enough good shit in the ones already submitted. That would also mean missing some, but wth. When did Modernage have that all-black board? With the sexy black Goatkeeper. Was that this year? Might actually nominate that instead of Flunky. etc.

Somehow I think it's a different thing to make a board tailored to win a certain category. Fun as hell too and I'd be down for that. But another idea.

...BUT I have to vote against size categories because of being stupid. They are. They miss the point, other than the number of pedal. That doesn't really matter much does it, when we can label the boards in more imaginative ways?
