CLASSIC BETHESDA. Thankfully I haven't experienced any serious bugs yet, but I've heard that at least one person has got stuck in the cart at the beginning and just BEING UNABLE TO START THE GAME. Pretty weak when that sort of stuff happens, but meh, works for me./selfish.

That sucks! I had that happen in Oblivion though. Fucking gay.
I think that Skyrim has the same glitches as Oblivion too. I'm going experiment today a bit. But by simply casting certain spells, I think you'll be able to level your magic a lot faster. I sat in a room on Oblivion for like 4 or 5 fucking hours, just casting spells on myself and then healing myself. It leveled the SHIT out of my character. I got so high leveled that no one in the game could hurt me. I'd go around killing all the guards and everything. It was awesome.
Also, is anyone else having a hard time not killing everyone you see? Sometimes I'll do a save and then murder people just for fun. I love the killing. I love.

Yeah, every time I see someone who isn't automatically trying to kill me, I have to do a debate in my head as to whether they're going to be useful later on or if I can just kill them now. I also highly enjoy dumping bodies into rivers now because the currents actually take them away.
If I can get my game working (or just never change my magic again...I'm using heavy armor and 2-hand weapons anyway...) I'm definitely getting payback on that
Afflicted fucker on the road just outside of the Meadery near the huge main town...SEE?! THAT'S WHAT I GET FOR SPARING A LIFE. ONE. SINGLE. TIME.

Early into the game I encountered a giant.

Also, anyone else seen snowy sabre cats? OH MY GOD I've already killed a DRAGON and these motherfuckers are so impossibly tough. Had to resort to jumping on some rocks and waiting till it went away, then running for it.

Yeah the giants are hilarious to fight, especially if you can get them to fight other things

I'm playing on the difficulty one above normal (adept?) and its actually a lot harder...I die all the time but I like games that way.
Anyway those cats shred me instantly. I usually just run away or if I'm lucky Lydia will distract it and soak up damage while I hit it a million times...it still takes forever for me to kill a single one.
Honestly the only reason "I" was able to beat that dragon is because he flew away to a nearby ruins after deciding that making me quickload 12 times was no longer entertaining, and there he started roasting 3 frost trolls.
So I ran down the face of this huge mountain I was on, got within range of him murdering the shit out of those trolls, and got a lucky stun on him. He fell to the ground and got FUCKED UP. It was really funny.
But I could not have done it on my own. The only reason I was able to even survive is because I've been raising my restoration, so whenever he strafed me the heavy armor would let me live with like 2HP and I would just be holding down the heal buttons the entire time. Dragons are no joke in this game.
Oh, also when I fast traveled to the place I fought the dragon, his skeleton fell on me. For no reason, just right out of the air. I died.
Thank god for quicksaves.

I'm playing on whatever the second hardest difficulty is (think it's adept?), I was on the hardest for a while but got curbstomped by this pack of bandits over 10 times, lowered the difficulty and it still took a few tries. I actually really like the level of challenge, except occasionally when you meet a sabre cat or something in a place where it just seems like there shouldn't be one, like on the only path to one of the very first main quest things...

Hahahahaha that horse thing is amazing. I haven't really ridden any, I stole one once, and didn't really like how it controlled so I left it. Might use them to climb mountains now though...
