You could make another run and tell your record label to stop sending out copies of your CD for free and recoup some losses.

Sending out copies for free? EH? WHAT DO YOU KNOW THAT I DON'T
Also, yeah, we only have a few CDs left, in my closet. And, our label guy has about 20ish. Otherwise, that's it. We recorded three songs before breaking up, and might put out some splits or something. I guess we'll try to sell off the rest or something dumb.
Also, it ain't bout dat money. Plus, with the $57, we broke even. And, with our show, we saved our favorite venue from going under, due to someone stealing $440 from there. We made them all of that money back and then some. Which, like, doesn't sound like much, but when you take into consideration that it was $5 to get in, i'm at least kinda impressed. Plus, for a non-profit DIY venue, $440 is a fuckton of cash to just lose.

So I bought Star Commander's CD a ways back, and they sent me an NSP CD with it and I was like, oh that's cool, I guess they send you other stuff to try in the hope that you'll buy more when you like it. Then last week or so I got ANOTHER package with Star Commander's CD and a Dear Human CD, and I was like ...the fuck is going on here? So I emailed them and they were like ...oops. So yeah. I would assume it doesn't happen often, but it was kinda weird.

hahahaha, sweet. But, yeah, the thing is...not a lot of bands on my label sell CDs. So, Gutterth basically hooks people up whenever they order, and usually just give them something else along with it. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, it's run by two dudes that have full time jobs, so mistakes are inevitable. I mean, Dear Human rules though. So, then there's that.

It made me so sad when I looked them up and they turned out to not be a thing anymore. Or are not a thing but maybe will be again. Why do I keep finding bands when they are no longer bands?

If you're trying to not do that, don't peruse the Gutterth lineup too much. Most of the bands except for Two Knights and NSP are broken up.
Still, I know that feel. This was their last show.
