Look generalizations are unavoidable as long as the people being generalized are enforcing it, continually.
And thats not that I dont agree with u, i do, I just feel as though its a point that needs to be made. The fact
of the matter is that the gun waving republicans are gonna get noticed more as they are more extreme in their views,
just the same as we see all muslims as terrorists in our fucked up post 9/11 world - because of the extremists of that
religon. And its just fuckin unfortinate that it has to be that way, i myself consider myself a so called liberal but i dont disregard the other side, everybody has good ideas in some way or form. The real issue in this country is the masturbatory 2 party system, which spends more time fighting each other than looking at the issues at hand. People in this country are too damn caught up in being judgemental of others views, and making assumptions based on the political party they belong to. To me theres no liberals or conservatives, we have to start looking at things from an issue to issue bases

Now, a 501(c)(4), like the NRA, has no such restriction. Still tax exempt, though.

but if you're a 501(c)(3) your donors all get tax duductions. So if you either want to do something, or more often, fund some other non-profit to do something. I used to work for a nonproft that basically did just that. We'd stand on the streets of the twin cities and ask for money for Amnesty International and Feed the Children.
