I emailed them about the Alpha Drive and they said this

Most all OD pedals are based off the Tube Screamer and Boss OD pedal designs. Ours is based on the same platforms tweaked to get an accurate Dumble sound out of a Fender and other clean platform amps. Listen and play the pedal as there is nothing else on the market that comes close.
