I tend to agree. I always ask for pics, demand on showing pics for this very reason for every online interaction, and in person insist on trying it out to prove it works. Plus he talked about it being broken back in October

Something about trading some basses but he kept trying to say how I should pay more than a prior-discussed value, I think. and he had like no info on the bass, and barely a picture.

WTF are you talking about? I made this cause I wanted to warn people that I had been ripped off. I'm not even that angry at him and I was refunded. But didn't want that kind of shit to happen to anyone else here.

If it were me, I'd be pissed. Would have a very hard time "letting it go" if someone took $450 from me an gave me a fucked up pedal. I would hope that we don't have to start listing "this pedal actually works!" on our B/S/T adds. It's not really the purchasers fault that someone is a dishonest douche bag. Kind of shitty for you to try and make it seem that way too.

He does not have to get over shit. He was scammed and is right in expressing his feelings. If Elbandito does not want this kind of attention he should not be a fucking thief. He has always seemed like a sarcastic asshole to me. I hope he is banned. ILF is the one place I feel safe buying, selling, or trading. Let's keep it that way!

First, you can't tell if a pedal is busted on the inside by looking at a picture of the outside. You can't even tell if it's busted by looking at the inside, in many cases. So a picture proves nothing except that someone actually has a pedal on hand.
Second, asking a scammer if they are telling the truth is likely not going to help.

I'm sure ILF would have even donated shit to elban/done auctions and given him a place to crash or something, but instead he decided to scam a few forumites.
I can't have sympathy for someone who tried to scam us.

I've had no dealings with elbandito.
I did want to chime in real quick though and say that my one deal with intothegroove was great. Super nice, paid right away, real quick communication via PM. I was a little sad to see people jumping on him in that other thread... so here I must give another +1 to intothegroove.
