and nowadays, as different to when i was a teenager, you can get arrested and jailed for ploinking an "underage" person, even if you're a teenager yourself. i watched a TV program on sex offenders recently and one of the subjects was a guy in Florida who got busted at 17 for screwing a 14-year-old girl and got two years in juvie; after homie got out at age 19 he got caught with a girl of 15 and got seven years in the penitentiary. don't have sex in Florida unless you check your partner's ID.

As a father of three I wholeheartedly agree with protecting the underage children from the teens, and both the children and the teens from the adult abuse and all but... but but but THAT...
that sounds, to me, absolutely nonsensical legislation, age limits -wise. Just what are the age limits? Huh?
I fully understand that the difference of ages between them Youngsters can make bigger difference than ten years later... yeah, but...
is it just the cultural differences or something but I still feel the conviction in this case sounds - to me, and one should - too harsh, based on awkwardly small difference of ages?

oh, it's incredibly nuts. if that law had been in effect when i was in high school a third of the student body would have been in jail.
