This is the ginger humming bird eater that lives with us now. Abandoned by fuckhead neighbours when they moved.

Devnulljp, you are the man sir.

I have a hard time trusting other people with my animals. Very few people in my circle of friends are responsible enough to baby sit my pets.
We had a Hedgie breifly but she was poorly socialized and grumpy,...we rehomed her to a lady with MS and another Hedgie and the time to socialize her. I want another one though,..they are pretty cool.

I fucking people who just abandon animals. I mean, if the people went from having a home to homeless, that's one thing. But just moving to a new home? Take the fucking cat with you, or find it a new home. Dirtbags.
i totally agree. people always want to adopt kitties, especially cute ones! it's not that difficult just to take the cats to a shelter.
this nice lady used to live by me. she had two cats and an awesome garden. her kids put her in a nursing home, sold the house and just put the cats out. now they pretty much live in our backyard/under the shed, but are too afraid to come near us. i wanted to take them in for the winter, but they fight the cats we have and like i said, they won't come near anyone.

Meet Louie

She's got this strange thing for our laptops, in fact she is sitting on my lap right now and seems to be considering taking a leap at my laptop screen.

So she's already taking after us and becoming a stoner.
Which makes her do things like this:

Louie is awesome! Good work getting him rolling at such an early age.

Hooray for giving girl cats boy's names.
(I name one of my female kitties Leroy)
She's sweet,...I miss the kitten stage,...now my cat's are just lazy troublemakers.

yep, laptops are warm. back in the 90s my ex and i had a cat who liked to sleep on top of the cable TV box because it was warm; we had to move the box to somewhere she couldn't get on top of it after she turned the telly on at max volume at 3 AM for the third time.

I think her fondness for laptops is a combination of the warmth and the movement on the screen. Any time she sees me scroll down, she wants to attack it. She also likes to climb on the tv stand and attack the tv when I watch hockey. So she's definately quite the troublemaker right now, but she's such a sweetheart too.

last night we were watching "Must Love Cats" on Animal Planet and towards the end Ronaldinho, my big grey fuzzy bundle of love, noticed the cats on the telly and sat down and watched the last five minutes of the show, utterly fixated on the screen.
i really have to find a functioning camera around here so i can show you folks pictures of him. he's so sweet...whenever i'm horribly depressed he can tell, and comes over to me and acts incredibly adorable until i submit to the cuteness and cheer up for a few minutes.

I want to either get a cat with two different colored eyes and name it Ziggy or get one and name it Fritz.
If I ever feel like I'd have the time to take care of a cat, that is.
