^ This one's weird, but I dig it a lot. It's like psychedelic black metal. They did a split with Candy Cane recently that's pretty awesome.

Jumalhärä. engl. something like Godtwilight. Stretches the use of term Black Metal but knowing some of the band members I say it's cool. Psychedelics, Black Magic, Satan, anti-humanism... it's all there. Guys have never given a picture of themselves to the public (though they have through other bands) because Jumalhämärä isn't a rock band so who's in and who's not doesn't matter.

I, too, enjoy Nile myself (especially the Amongst the Catacombs of Nephren-Ka and the Black Seed of Vengeance). I like a great many other death metal bands. Just... let's not derail the thread yet. OK?

I guess I wouldn't know the difference. I think all the metal bands I like are probably not black metal then. I'm from new jersey so everything had a hardcore influence. like a band would breakup and the next day that guy is in a death metal band but it just ends up sounding like new jersey.

It doesn't matter at all as long as it rocks Your socks off, right? Right. I dig a lot of metal, hell, a lot of music that is FAR from metal. Just... not in this thread.

Not that I'd try to shine my purist tr00 Black Metalz armor here, but I come from the 90's circles and it has meant a lot to me, and it still does, somewhere deep inside. Though I was always known as the guy who is ready to poke fun at the genre that was taking the irony and a good healthy laugh NOTORIOUSLY badly.
