My best pal had this lebanese girlfriend who made mad coffee, it was like turkish but spiced with something. Might've been cardamom
I used to love these:

Mixed the coffee with a few grains of salt and some cinnamon, then drank it with sugar.
But then I moved in with a dude that had this:

And from then on I couldn't stand the coffee from my old machine. But I could never afford a real espresso machine. So now I use this:

And am quite happy with it. The Siphon I have takes much too long, it's more for decorative purposes and the occasional showing off.

I don't like the elitist attitude that we all have towards coffee.

Hey - it's a gear forum! What do you expect?
That said, I'll drink just about anything with caffeine...

Anyone else do cold brew coffee? I do it in the summer because I like good ice coffee all day long. For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about:

Sounds like you have a mug like mine.
For my B-day, my parents - knowing my love for coffee and tea - got me this *massive* mug. Mug isn't the right term. It's closer to a bowl with a handle.
And I love it.
As far as my coffee, I've been drinking this organic hawaiian stuff. Pretty good, no pesticide crap, etc. Drinking some now, actually. (in my awesome mugbowl.)

Pretty sure it just measures 8oz cups. Most cups I own are 12 or 16 (generally 16). Some are even more. : O
When I measure the marks on the pot, and pour it in, the marks on the coffee maker don't match. It says there's more. o.O

I want a mugbowl... I do enjoy shopping for mugs on etsy. I will now have to look for this mysterious piece of earthenware.

Here - I did the searching for you. Like a true hipster, mine was bought at a shady import shop. If you don't mind losing some INDIE KREDZ, you can buy them on Amazon.
