Dreamed that I found a G&L L2000 in the garage and remembered that BCBC was GASing for one (?), but every time I tried to PM him about it, I'd get a "message not sent" error and a letter in the mail from the CIA a few days later.
Too much ILF, maybe...

Anyway when people at work or friends offer me gum I ALWAYS say no cause I don't want it to start... I can chew gum but I can't take it from someone else, or if I do I toss it later... Aint No Gum that's gonna take me over...

From years of rejecting gum I've come to find that some people can get real offended when you say no to their "gift" of a chewing stick... I turn down most stuff people offer me though but that's cause I'm not needy... Another dream involves my trying to get somewhere to achieve the end of the dream or whatever but wherever I am instantly turns into me climbing a hill... The hill is usually not too steep but about halfway up it starts raining and then the mud starts to flow... The rain will pick up and it gets real dark and if anyone is around they become far away and covered in a clear fog where they can't really hear me and I hear them through some filtered delay... The mud gets up to my knees and I'm stuck treading uphill in an increasingly futile effort to reach the??? It kinda feels like I'm Dimensional Traveling but I'll get into that later...

Yeah, I don't chew gum because I've got bad teeth, and people do get weirdly offended when you turn down their gracious gift of chewables.

my dreams have settled down a little recently. in the last year or so i've had semi-recurring dreams that ran for months with slight variations, with the story progressing slowly from night to night/dream to dream. there's been one story arc in which my ex comes home from Burning Man (which was when she split with me) with a buttload of weird BM types in vans, cars, pickups and a bus to take her stuff away; one in which i disrupt a large family gathering/ceremony that for some incomprehensible reason is happening on the Stanford campus, which then moved to Chicago for a trip back to my old neighborhood and an unpleasant confrontation with my parents; one where i'm in San Francisco shopping for t-shirts and MMJ at a street market before getting on a futuristic shuttle to SFO and a monster jumbo jet for Amsterdam; and just lately one where i'm either driving or riding my bicycle in a seaside California town and looking for a woman i'm supposed to be meeting for coffee and one where the offices of my old job are being incomprehensibly re-organized.. there are others besides...the weird thing that most of these dreams share is that i'll be talking to people who ignore me or trying to speak but able only to get out a tiny breathless squawk. it's really awful sometimes, the inability to speak in the dreams, trying to argue or defend myself and having no way to do so.

I always dream of my cats playing with Big cats. lions and tigers roaming my street giving kisses to my cats through the windows, them rolling and tumbling together. sometimes there's a bear &/or an elephant. it's like a circus cut loose. all my neighbors are frightened to death, but me and my cats just don't care, it's play time!

Weee, dreams!
I don't have recurring dreams per se, but the same elements are there most of the time. These are : a vacation or trip of some kind, either with friends or family, which takes place on a spaceship or airship or something. Something usually goes wrong, and it turns into a sci-fi disaster/horror movie type thing. These dreams have been ongoing for so long that I have no anxiety during or after them. I just know what to do in each case.
The other commonly occurring one is more or less a straight up apocalypse dream, in some kind of variation. One time is was a huge flood. I was in some kind of scientific research center where we had the only capability to save humankind, but we had to stay there in order to do it. There was this huge rolling steel door, and I remember watching it roll shut and thinking "well, this is it." That was actually one of the only terrifying dreams I've had since I was kid.

The dreams I can remember tend to involve big-ass machinery, industrial settings or those combined with the ocean.
Huge factories with smoke rolling out of the stacks, but the smoke has the color palette of a motor oil puddle. Like in Captain Planet or something. And a fistfight with this bitch who alternately turned into humanoid-shaped TV static or summoned shredded paper out of thin air every time she took a swing at me.
Scuba diving in a pitch-black underground silo kinda thing. I could look up and see the lit entry area with a ladder leading into the pool, but everything else was in total darkness. I felt the presence of something big farther underwater, fuuuuuck that.
Driving a crappy boat that's slowly taking on water through a ship graveyard covered in fog. The ships weren't connected together or to anything else, just floating around in the open. I eventually pulled up a rusted-out derelict oil tanker and climbed up onto the deck. I noticed that wherever I stepped, part of my shoe was left behind as if it was melting, but the metal of the deck was cool to the touch.
Floating, circular fortress/island machines under constant attack by circa-1945 experimental jets.
A seven-dream-long zombie nightmare arc where at one point I saw a horde of them obliterated by a death ray mounted on someone's roof.
Also, the girls in my dreams are usually either robotic or ethereal and tend to be actively trying to kill me
