Dear god I love this thread.
What would you guys recommend as a nice and not too expensive semi hollow?
I'd love an ES335, but I don't have that kinda dough.
I'm not a huge fan of artcores either.

when i had my electromatic it never stayed in tune
but neither do the expensive ones

lots of people can keep them in tune
but floating bridge + normal tuners + bigsby was a live disaster for me

Epiphones are the obvious choice. Dot, Sheraton, Casino.
I found my Gibson ES 333 for $800, though - deals are out there.
