That was some fine readin' to be sure. And funny how you made a mythological connection with Mellowtone,kosta. I would have thought that Dwarfcraft would be an obvious one. The fact that all things built by the Norse dwarves were indestructible and then the raven as part of the logo possibly being symbolic of one of Odin's ravens(Hugin-thought,or Munin-memory). See,this topic is VERY relevant to the goings on here at ILF ;)

anybody know anything about japanese mythology? i remember hearing something crazy about some guy making an island out of his spunk or something.

The story is that the deity Izanagi dipped his sword into the sea and that created the Japanese islands. He also created the moon goddess when he cleaned his left eye or something.

Thanks to smile_man and elbandito for schooling me on some things I didn't already know! I tend to stick to the myths and legends of Europe,but I have some more reading to do,clearly :cool: But on the subject of Japanese legends,I know of the shell-backed Kappas,water demons with green skin and Jigoku,sort of like the ferryman to the underworld(similoar to the Greek Charon).
