Nah. They ended up changing some of the more unique characters weapons in 5 or 6, which was a bummer.
I got real into Dynasty Warriors: Gundam for a while.

Yeah I liked DW: Gundam for a while too. I wanted to try that Fist of the North star one, too. And dudes, there's gonna be a Zelda version, no lie.
DW8's coming out in like March, it's got some new stuff.
People seem to like Samurai Warriors games if they're looking for different content. Same flavor but with different options.

Elder Scrolls Online looks kind of alright. As good Solo as well as it is with Groups atleast. Though, month to month subscription shouldn't really be a thing. The Guildwars 'pay once for an account' system works well for a reason.
GW2 disappointed me and I appreciate that they're trying to make an Action/Exploration MMO that isn't just EXP and Skillbars. I don't really want to see it fail, but people are really ragging on it.

The one balanced, neutral video on the game. It's an TES flavoured MMO - not an Online Skyrim.

My roommate spent quite a couple weekends doing the betas, and I was really not impressed.
It just looks like any other run of the mill MMO, which bores me.
The graphics are beautiful.
But, like. It doesn't look like fun.
I think the problem with MMOs as of late is that they attempt to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
They're easy and formulaic, and all are cookie cutter WoW clones.
I dunno. That's just my opinion, but I'm pretty unimpressed.
Especially since the biggest thing in TES is feeling like you have a part in the world.
Like, you change things and do things that matter.
But it's really hard to feel like anything you do matters in an MMO because the world has to stay the same.

I can't see how anything like that could be implemented though - especially in a massive multiplier game. It's hard enough for developers to do it in Singleplayer games.
TESO seems to be designed as a 'pal around with your friends' type of game. I think that it has potential to be a closer to a Table Top styled
"Role Playing Game" just because it's more action and exploring based and less Tank/DPS/Support and skill bar orientated - like every MMO. I think running around looking for Shards with a buddy or two would be really cool.
Anyway, got my Ducky Shine3 and gtx780 just now. Looking forward to giving them a try.

Want...my favorite part of any MMO is exploration, but there's less and less emphasis on that now.
This is the entire reason I've been messing around with Wurm Online. Pure exploration. DAT SELF-SUFFICIENCY.

Yeah, that was what I meant.
Like, an MMO CAN'T have that.
But to me it seems kind of essential to TES.
Like the draw of it is that you shape the world.
But that doesn't exist in TESO.
I think maybe that's unfair of me to judge it for that though.
So maybe that's not a valid point against it.
I haven't played it personally, just seen gameplay.
But that would be cool if it's not heavily grindy-combat-based at the end of beta.
I wouldn't mind it being an exploration-heavy game.
I love that sense of wonder in fantastic worlds.

To be fair, if we're going to nitpick... there's no Phonelines or Interwebs in Tamriel, they rely on one man couriers that would take days to get from City to City. Not to mention your average Jarl deals with Bandits, Civil Wars and all sorts of shenanigans on a day to day basis and they probably wouldn't care about you knowing the leader of the Mages Guild.

Signed up for the Titanfall Beta, it's really the only game I'm looking forward to in the next month or so
Still haven't finished Portal 2 and need to stop being a pussy and play Outlast.

Drank two 40s.
Played some Battlefield 4. DESTROYED. 20 and 4 on foot. Killed so many tanks. Prevented the enemy from making any pushes.
Recited Leroy Brown lyrics in allchat during downtimes.
Server crashed. Game doesn't retain your progression if the server crashes because it counts as you ALT-F4ing.
Bullshit.
