So.

I found my old copy of Grim Fandango.

How likely is it that it'll run on my computer (windows 7)?

I convinced myself not to buy a PS3 but my roommates do have a 360... I could buy it for that and play during the wait for PC...
Do it! :excellent:
Welp, it's preordered. And I went into a Gamestop for the first time since 27 July 2010* to do it. That place weirds me out for some reason. But I am willing to make personal sacrifices for this. And I should be able to flip the 360 copy once it shows up on Steam.

*when I picked up my preordered StarCraft 2. I did not like that game very much. BroodWar4Life.

Aw shit! Yeeah! :dances:

I think I'm gonna get a digital download on PSN as well as the physical 360 copy I'm getting from GS.

I've been playing Starbound, the spiritual successor of sorts to Terraria, a bit lately in my free time.
It's been pretty fun. I enjoy games that are fun to play with friends.

Past that I mostly just play TF2 or watch my roommate play video games.
Also Humble Bundles. Those are the shit.

I have a couple friends playing starbound. Terraria was lame because apparently it focusing on building (why would you want to build creatively in 2d???) but I've heard Starbound is more about combat? 2D combat can be fun.

Terraria actually didn't focus on building, I wouldn't say.
There were building aspects to it, but plenty of exploration to be done.
Starbound is DEFINITELY more about exploration and combat, though.
It's still in beta so they're still working on spicing up combat and weapons.
But it's rad. I like it.

Terraria had a lot of untapped potential; it'd be cool if Starbound does it one or two better. A few of my friends have the game but I'm waiting and watching for now.

I'd say that so far, it's a lot better.
There's a ton more to explore, and it looks so much nicer.
They're also adding new content all the time.

Man. I'm suddenly hit with a wave of nostalgia for playing Dynasty Warriors 4 co-op with my friends.
That was the perfect game for co-op, slashing through hundreds of people. The Nanman Campaign was like an endurance mode since the friendly units were quickly defeated and it became two of us versus literally a thousand enemies. I remember us being in awe of the Matrix-like slow motion framerate issues when we did a team attack.
Kind of sad but kind of happy at the same time. That's not ever gonna happen again.

Oh man! Wading into a fucking army on coop was good stuff.
Fuck it, going to kawp from Gamestop for the weekend. Were there any improvements in the later ones?
