I made closet doors like that. It's like wrapping a present using a staple gun instead of tape. Cut in the corners to make it square. You can use spray adhesive around the frame to help keep it square while you stretch and staple. use good strong fabric though so it doesn't get saggy. Like couch cloth.

so you stretch the cloth around a frame, and then put the frame inside the enclosure? i'm not sure what you mean by cut in the corners.

Instead of folding in the corners in like a present (the triangular folds on the box ends), cut a little slit where that fold would be so that you can lay the fabric flat without it bunching because of the fold. You can get fancy and leave a bit of extra fabric to fold over and sew like in upolstery.

Edit: should we make a thread in diy or something so this doesn't get derailed?

It has the awkward foot switch/knobs placement and toggle switches, must be good.

Been there for a hot minute too. I'm tempted to get it and have 2 on my board.

i thought i remembered someone wanting a big box holy grail. or a discussion about them. anyway, here's one in portland for $80 with the wooden box and everything. if you want one, this is probably as good as it's going to get.

Not on eBay, but you'll definitely be taking a "sweet shit" on one of these:

That's for brand new. Best price I've ever seen for one new. They'll run you more used pretty much all of the time.
