I wouldn't be considering it if I were only playing at 1080p, but these new resolutions are amazing.

It's my busy time at work so maybe if I earn enough money through overtime.
For the money an Rx 290 is a hundred bucks cheeper and works just as well. You also might considering SIL'ing if you have the correct setup.
I tend to prefer Nvidia generally, they run a bit cooler and uses less power. :idk:

EDIT:
Resident Evil 4 on PC - again. I haven't played that game in years, but I have a feeling that it would suck, but I kind of want it if it's under $20.

Just based on what I have read. And I am with you, I really prefer Nividia cards over AMD but in terms of price It might be worth looking into.

Then again I have a 850 watt gold rated powersupply in my machine so ....yeah.

Something about arranging the briefcase in RE4 was so satisfying. I LOVE OPTIMIZING THINGS.
Also, I've been watching people play Everquest on youtube lately; it's really interesting how stuff worked back then, before real quests, before being spoon-fed things, before convenient features such as parties and maps
I loved being able to have text conversations in MMOs before voice chat and the ability to succeed while playing totally alone became more prevalent. It's pretty rare to have a conversation through ingame text now without being called a fag or scrub, or having some douche spout off memes at you.

Man, EQ was hardcore.

Dota 2 is my favourite game. Sometimes I hate it so much. This is like every game I play. Highest level, most kills, fewest deaths, most last hits, most denies. And my team still loses.

Yeah that's why I stopped playing mobas so much, you have to try really hard to win and it's a team game, the team who works together the most wins, and you have to coordinate with 4 random people and usually at least one of them doesn't even speak english lol

I was thinkin about EQ just the other day. I don't miss the urges to be online all the time but I miss the challenge and teamwork of a big raid MOB. I was a frickin' good tank in my day. Best damn warrior on the server.

I know that feel.

I just started playing DOTA 2 and I already feel the moba bug coming back on. I got really into HON and LOL but got flamed every game I played.

I played LoL two years ago for a while and got to the point where I could be fairly effective and competent in most unranked games. TRying DotA last year went poorly, I just felt so hopelessly lost. When you get the hang of those games though they are the most fun.

I'm not sure that I could hate online gaming communities more, but I don't want to test it by playing a DOTA-style game.

Played my share of DotA/LoL/Dota 2, but I lost my taste for them. Too much of a hassle and a time sink, IMO.

i have been playing a bunch of civ revolutions on XBL lately, and i always get my ass kicked.

grew up playing the original on a 486. it's fun to get baked and nerd out on. online matches can take forever sometimes but usually someone quits or their connection drops, whatever
