Another Tweak Fuzz. Yeah, I already have one, but they're going for just $40 at MF this week. Solid for a decent Si Fuzz Face (with a really cool tone swich, to boot). Should free me up to mess with some mods on one, but they're fine stock.

Still want a phaser hard, but doesn't look like I'll have the money for one until Christmas
and even then, after playing with the Moog Animoog app for my dad's iPad, I think I'm going to start setting aside money for an iPad 3

I forgot how much I love the SM on guitar. And the VFM is along the same lines but with an interesting texture.
Also, pharoah, I can't get anything but overwhelming doom out of it. No complaints, just expected more of a muff than just BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHWOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
and anything culturejam makes is just plain amazing. I'll write about that later....

I actually went to the pro guitar shop store here in Portland. The guys who worked there were effects heads just like me and always let me chill out and talk with them. ( I go in to spy on the pedals there, they carry a lot of ILF stuff!) When I walked into the too pick it up they gave me 10% because a sale had ended just one day before. I was so happy, I just not got to plug it in my rig. I may go back up and that saying something when I usually work this early!.

yeah, I believe El Cap will be the next purchase. I've been trying to avoid it, but it's pretty much exactly the delay for which I've been looking.
