I spent a lot of time playing this mmo called shadowbane back in the day

sieges, castles, taxes, unrestricted pking and a seamless map. it was rad as fuck.

it was shut down in like 2004, and then some chinese company bought it. it's now being "updated" and released as world of shadowbane

Im really dumbfounded at sony patting themselves on the back. Yeah they sold a lot of ps4's, but what the fuck are we supposed to do with them? Right now there are...no AAA games that were specifically developed for next gen consoles available on the ps4. As a matter of fact, there are no games, save for knack, that are ps4 exclusive. Every single game you can buy for it is little better than a port. The same exact game as on the ps3 but with more shit blowing around in the air. Nice. The only thing i use the thing for right now is watching crunchy roll. The CR app for the PS4 works better than any other medium save for just watching shit on a computer. Im really glad i didn't pay a cent for this fucking thing.

As much as I despise the fans, Portal 1 is still amazing.

*Double post because fuck it*

Deus Ex: HR Director Cut is awesome. It fixes all the problems of the first version.

So good.

Boss fights are much more balanced, improved textures and has a New game+ replay. You can get it for $5 if you have the original and DLC, so its worth the replay. :idk:

I'm just playing lots of Skyrim.
Picked that up when it went on sale alongside Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.

I've been thinking of getting into the Assassin's Creed games but haven't felt entirely compelled and I fell like my replay value in Skyrim is going to be infinite.

I never gave a shit about the AC games and actually felt that they were pretty mediocre when playing 'em, but the new AC is fantastic. I don't even think there are very many games worth the money you put down for them anymore but the refined gameplay makes it so worth it. As soon as you get out of Havana (which is like four missions), you can fuck off to wherever you want, and sailing/ship battles are awesome. There are a lot of places to explore but it's not so free that I lose all drive to complete the story, which is always what happens to me in Bethesda games.
