Got a free Xbox 360 and scooped up a bunch of games on Amazon. Pretty rad, but I still prefer PS3.

EB Games had an offer where I could trade in any 360 for a free Xbox One. I passed that offer up.

Finished about 2 hours worth of Stanley Parable.

...I think that it may be one of my favourite games this year.

Been playing that BF4. It's what BF3's multiplayer should have been, ie less linearity and more BF2-like gameplay but without the thing where you shoot the fuck out of someone only to see dust fly off of their body shortly before being gunned down yourself.
Commander mode is no fun and needs to be revamped. Commanders are almost useless in hardcore mode. Let commanders attack again like in BF2 and get rid of that shitty ATV vehicle drop. NOBODY is going to use that. A two-seater is 100% useless to any squad that isn't a suicide bomber team.
Good job on the weapons, vehicles and changing maps. It's nice that vehicles aren't invincible this time. Day/night and weather cycles are awesome. Even the campaign is alright, well, better than BF3 or Cawwadooty.
As before, multiplayer's pretty much only worth playing if you have a dedicated group of BF4 bros.

Also, Natural Selection 2 is the shiiiiiit. Oldschool lack of unlocks or stat tracking, unheard of in a shooter today. Teamwork is required; if you go off alone, you are absolutely fucked. So good.
Commanders are not just a side position, they're a necessity, and most of the players I've encountered use voice chat.
Didn't think a game like this would last, much less have a large player base. It's amazing.

Yeah NS2 is pretty legit. I only stopped playing because none of my friends play, and because I only really enjoy playing as a support-ish marine. Jetpack+welder erry spawn, erry day.

In other news, dark souls 2 is less than three months away. I am excite.

STEEEAAAAAAM SAAAAAAAAAAALLLLEEE!!!

EDIT:
Decided to replay Crysis 1, the other two were pretty shitty. But I remember that I couldn't even run the 1st Crysis at medium and it was such a massive thing back in 07.

Still looks better than most games today.

Haven't found any games that really caught my eye during the Steam sale yet. I've got so much to play anyway so its probably a good thing. Did buy Electronic Superjoy and bought my roommate a copy of Rogue Legacy for a gift.

Also, beat Guacamelee last night, pretty short but a very fun game. After I finish my term paper I am going to finish the first chapter of Walking Dead Season 2 and then start State of Decay.
