about to pull the trigger on this thing. good/bad idea? my original plan was to snag a white carvin x100b from my buddy and then get rid of my pv valveking for something with killer break up to match the headroom of the x100b. now I'm thinking about just snagging this for the break up tonez and keeping my VK for cleaner sounds. the Univox will be about a hundred dollars cheaper after shipping costs.. worth it?

If you budget that hundo for a look-see by a tech / possible tubes, then I don't think it's a bad deal. I'd probably do it but I'm holding out for the 100-watt version.

those things are ridiculous! that being said, I used to have one of the 1x18/2x10 ones and I hated it someone told me it sounded great from far away, but I didn't keep it long enough to confirm

I bet that cabinet is heavy as fuck. My old 2x15 was a monster and that thing has to be heavier
