I was pretty much searching for a fat guy because they would probably make the best human bacon.

 Yeah...

My grandma will give it a try and make some pumpkin soup next week, I'll report back :thumb:

............... Long Pig is an another term for cannibalistic meals. supposedly the taste being similar to pork, the innards being close but we have the longer leg bones......

and i'm a fiend for anything Warren Ellis. even his shitty stuff. but Transmet's one of his best works, and they had a fast food chain called Long Pig that served "human's bred with induced encephalitic damage that weren't used as sex toys" (paraphrase 'cause i'm too damn lazy to pull out the graphic novel and look up the quote). lurv that series.

only thing about it i always hated was i don't dig on Author Avatars, 'specially when they attach way more importance to what they actually do. "Spider Jerusalem is an homage to Hunter S. Thompson!" suuuuuuuuuuuuuuure Ellis. SURE.

I guess where I was going was to take whatever recipe you find and add celery root and apples to it. Stew or roast em along with the pumpkin until soft and tender (cook all the way through,...not al dente) and run through a food mill.

Food mills are also great for making really smooth mashed potatoes.

warwick.hoy wrote:I passed on the strat but I did find a MIM Tele Deluxe at a pawnshop that is more my style. As much as I don't wanna,....I'm going to put it on Layaway. It's a little more then I want to spend on a guitar and the only way to keep someone else from buying before I get paid on the 20th is to put $100 bucks on it. Unfortunately layaway means I have to pay sticker price (as opposed to the $300 + Tax for the Tele, Tweed Case and a new set of strings that was offered to buy it outright),...but it's still a better deal then buying new. The money is there but we also have a large rent/deposit check floating out there as well as my cell phone bill Autopay and I don't wanna overdraw my account.

Wheelin and Dealin. Gonna puts some 11's on it for the moment. Just to play in Drop D.

I played it through a $3000 Black Cat guitar combo amp that FUCKING SCREAMS. Well out of my price range though.

They also had a Sunn Beta Bass that would be cool to own,....but I'm set on amps for now. If it's still there in a couple of months I might pick it up.

EDIT: Here is that guitfiddle.

Iron Ether Oxide...haha that was cool. :thumb: Other than that.... Just stop the madness.
I think I'm gonna go to some website on sex, find a thread about exploring new and exciting sexual positions and techniques and say, why do I need to do all that? I just jerk off!
hahaha yeah, that'd be cool!

All that comes to mind...First time I went to a music store and noticed all these boxes hooked up, and played them, it was like, "wtf have I been missing!?" Sure there are different playing techniques to get various sounds, but none of them do anything remotely close to what my pedals do.

He's either a marine or a fan of the marines.

I'd expect about that much.

all silliness aside, i have some fam that has been in the military. met a lot of different people that are/have been in service. all kinds in there. some really cool peeps, more fucking misanthropic genetic dumping grounds........ but that's true almost anywhere in the RL isn't it?

getting so bored of over there. blegh.
