Played through The Inner World yesterday. Not bad. Proud to say I completed the game without using the hints function even once! However, it did take me 13 hours..

I feel like I say it here like 1-2 a month. But I'm really over the gaming culture online.

Anyway, bought the F.E.A.R series on steam. 2005 graphics are the best graphics

I've never really gotten into online gaming.
It's just not for me.
I'm generally more into games for the story or the overall experience

Nah, found it on 4chan.
It makes me wanna try dual wielding shields, though. I love that this game lets you do that, and there's even a couple of powerful shields...

Apart from my group of online friends, I feel like a great majority of other online players are either assholes or idiots. And most games have horrible communities, usually a buncha whiny douchebags with a distorted sense of entitlement.
Every now and then you'll run across a cool person but it's like ships passing in the night.
I feel like the use of voice chat instead of text, promoting smaller group talk instead of server-wide communication, combined with the rise in popularity of XTREME ESPORTS GAMING LEAGUES and the advent of the "hey I'm so nerdy lol playing video games I'm such a nerd" culture is turning online gaming into BUTTS.

You should totally make a two-shield character. I have one. It's fun as hell.

Also, this shit pissed me the fuck off

Seriously... what?

Also I've noticed that 'nerds' have the shittiest taste of music and drink shitty beers. ILF is nerdier than any game forum.

Those dudes need to learn what a false equivalence is, I think.

Yeah, that's the same reason I've want to hand stab 95% of engineering students I've met in the trachea. They only come in two flavours:
a) Heineken and Led Zeppelin or
b) Flavoured vodka and "nerd" club music (usually with some sort of auto-tuned-to-hell singing or just straight up Miku).

I'm glad I can be part of the other 5%.
Although I think you can kind of extend that to 95% of students, and even to 95% of people under 25.
Fuck I just hate people.

I feel like Miku would do well with the "whining into a reverb pedal" style shoegaze vocals.
I've actually been trying that out lately, but the Vocaloid realtime plugin crashes pretty often and Miku via midi controller is pretty awkward.

IMO the ESPORTS subculture is so desperate to prove to the world that vidyas should be taken seriously, that they make gaming look even more weird to the uninitiated. They definitely put me off, and I like games :erm:

Heck I used to love watching Koreans play Brood War, then SC2 came along and things went... different.
