I feel this set up needs a Blue Box or 6.
Make it so.

Latest incarnation of my pedalboard (sic) for a new band:

Image

Korg Pitchblack>modded Russian Big Muff>French Toast>modded Russian Smallstone>modded Phase 90>DD3>VTBass

This runs into a trace elliot pa250 power amp and homemade 15 with some 800 watt eminence speaker. Basswise it's between the Squier Clasic Vibe Jazz or 2001 American standard Fender Jazz

CL is totally a crapshoot. The last time I was serious about starting a band, I spent about 3 months on Craigslist, posting and replying. I arranged to meet one guy, who didn't show up.

I've found it's a lot easier if you know musicians or have friends that are musicians, and you say "I'm looking for a band" and they put you in touch with their friends, old bandmates, etc. Also, I got to know a local guitar shop owner and he knows who is coming in/out looking for bands. But lately I've just been going to a noise/experimental jam session and not worrying about the whole band thing. If people show up, they show up. No drama. :thumb:

Hopefully i can get enough funds together for a custom Wah Anti Wah that Basic Audio was gonna make me, i had to cancel the order cause some shit came up. I miss the Qzone! it WAS my lead tone.

Why did you get rid of the Qzone, if I might ask?

There is definitely space for one.

Blue Boxes don't sound to good on bass in my experience, but why not.

I don't really know what else to add to my setup outside of a bit crusher,...and/or a sample rate reducer. The Blue Box looks like it's octave down,...if anything I'd rather a Brassmaster that adds the octave up.

I may pull the source audio MWBDP pedal off of there since I'm not really using it for what it is intended for,...or maybe I should get more comfortable with the more synthy settings. After that I pretty much just want to start acquiring and building more Fuzzes, see how my tastes have changed, experience what's out there and what other people are doing and add to the collection.
