You just put a stereo headphone splitter in the output jack of Rat. Take one of these two outs and send it to the amp. Run the other back into the input of the Rat. It'll sound like the movie Tron!

Finally have an Algal Bloom on the way in a trade. It's a Laura Bennett painted one. Hot sex. So pumped to try it. Moar fuzz

i did a bit of research and the best way to go, clonewise, seems to be the Chuck Collins. i'll see when i get it. the transistors for it seem to be a bit hard to find, but from what i've read people seem to be happy with it.

so I think I need modulation on my board. I have nothing but dirt. . .
so far I know I know I wanty
a delay (re-20 or carbon copy)
some sort of an octave with good tracking (micro pog or a whammy 5)
and a phaser for sure. ill prolly just try to find a vintage orange ross one like the one i had that i had to sell for 40$ years ago

any other ideas? criticizes on my choices? help me out brothers.

I owned the RE-20 for a day or so, and sold it again. It SOUNDED nice, but it requires its own supply otherwise it creates a cloud of white noise even when it isn't on and the flashing LED comes blipping through the speakers.
Not the most convenient pedal I think.

Whammy 5 + RE-20 + Small Stone?

On the delay side, i have a carbon copy...if you want a simple delay pedal, i think its one of the best...i've had it for years and its never come off my board.
On the phaser side...i would be interested in recommendations too.

Here's a video of Serial Hawk from that same show we played last weekend at Chop Suey.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77MvIbLrS0EMos Generator too:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0onMxynR08 Tony just plugs straight in to that crazy Risson head.
I can't embed these or I would. I guess there's no Mico de Noche video from this night. At least not yet.

Check out the Infanem Compact Faye Sing. It's a superb sounding phaser.
Also, check out the Catalinbread Montavillian delay. It's a lot like the Carbon Copy, but with a tone knob instead of modulation.

Think I've killed my preamp tubes. If I put my fuzz on too loud, the sound gets noticeably cleaner and quieter after it goes off.
Balls. The trouble with this amp is that I can't tell whether it's something simple that I can change with no bother, or whether it's totally shit the bed.

I thought pre-amp tubes lasted a lifetime. how would a fuzz damage it?
