If the NBA can license themselves out twice, why wouldn't they? Pro sports are all about that dolla. The real question is how do these yearly sports game rehashes keep making money?


I'm going a little crazy here waiting for Dark Souls 2, particularly because the PC version doesn't have a real release date. All I can find is that it'll 'follow shortly' after the console versions drop in the second week of March. I am so very psyched.

GFWL officially dies July 2014. So you can be pretty confident they won't be using it.

I'm a little worried that From won't patch it out of Dark Souls though, effectively killing the game forever.

I played a little of the Dark Souls II beta.

It was cool.

Fuck, I wanted in on that sooo bad. No PS3, though.

It's got a few minor differences that seem much bigger than they are, and characters "feel" different, but it's about the same jump from Demon's Souls to Dark Souls.

I started a new character in Demon's Souls (cause the online is still up), and I still think it's better as far as the presentation and the atmosphere are concerned. There's mad stuff I miss going back though--like poise, and being able to jump attack.

I'm on the hunt for a cheap PS3 just so I can go back and finish Demon's Souls and play Last of Us, as well.

FUCK some difficulty ratings. I got Arkham Origins, and I enjoyed my "easy" play thorugh quite a bit. I'm pretty fucking good at Arkham city and Asylum, so I did pretty good overall, and in the challenge maps. Then I thought, hmmm, I wonder if I would get any sweeter shit if I did a "normal" campaign.

TURNS OUT "NORMAL" IS INSANE HARD. I don't think I got my ass handed to me that bad ever before. Fuck.

Microsoft shut down Games for Windows Live, so no worries there.

Still not sold on either system, but if/when I decide to buy one later on down the road it'll be the PS4, since it seems to have less gimmicky shit I don't want or need with muh vidya gaems.

I feel that I just did the world a favor in hunting down and reuploading that Japanese Battlefield 2 intro parody. I tried finding it on youtube earlier, but it was taken down because some punks didn't like the use of their music in the video.

Their version is MUCH closer to how the game actually ran online. Dead-on, a lot of it. Especially the jets and helis, even the stupid zombie animation glich

I don't get way they even call those games Assassin's Creed. Whenever I watched my roommate play AC3 he was just fighting a bunch of dudes on the street every time.
