It doesn't go out of tune all the time
I quit using Strats a decade ago because I can be a bit heavy handed and snap strings -- the whole thing goes to hell with a floating trem.
But man people in the 70s must have been bears cos this thing weighs a ton.

It made me srsly consider going the silver route if the green stain proved to be too much of a pain in the ass.
