I like the way they stack that way. If I'm using the SHO before the FF, I'll usually have the SHO set pretty low to make the fuzz a little more open and sparkly sounding. Also, if the FF is all velcro-style, I set the SHO high so the notes don't decay so quickly. It can also make the fuzz a little glitchy.
