Another tip for looping: play a couple bars before you start recording, and at least a bar after ending the recording. It'll help smooth out the recordings as well.

Forever waiting for: Poly-Grace, Super Chan

You know, I think I remember reading the newer Lofi's don't have issues with loop synching, possibly resolved. :idk:
Regardless, it's awesome and very lofi. Way different than any digital looper.

That's been a tough one, for sure. Ships today! *fingers crossed/wishful thinking*

Ha! this whole discussion makes me want one too. Basically one of the last additions for the board I have in mind - loopers are awesome for playing by yourself.

I was actually thinking this:

I've never tried the Boss but I owned the JamMan Solo. Those small, feature packed ones are great for writing. The ability to save loops comes in handy considering I usually forget how the hell I came up with things by the time I'm done layering. Nice to save so I can sort it out later. You can load shit on 'em too, sample wise, trigger during or between songs live, which is always good.

in: EQD Bit Commander and Dream Crusher
Both sound flipping awesome, not sure how to wedge them onto my board.

Gasing for any and all EQD pedals,

I think I need an octasynth now as well.........

Trying to make space to wedge the bit comander between my whammy and pog, the board will pretty much be all octaves and fuzz:

lol. SO MANNNNNNY OCTAAAAAAAAAAAAVESSSSSSSSSSS.

urm....... from having both of them, they're pretty similar. you get a tad more control over the octave volumes with the Bit Commander, and the Octasynth doesna have an octave up, but the filter on the Octa is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy nicer. i can't hear much difference on the BC's filter, the Octa's resonant filter is mad useful.

moooooooooooOOOOooooo.

sweet, thanks for the quick review: yeah it's a ton of octaves, I was running whammy, expression factory and Pog and then running and octave up delay on my time bender, it's pretty much just terrible noise, but the best type of terrible noise.
