I got the Moog to replace mine but it does sound very nice. Moog is better but thats another story.
Conky has a used one for sale FYI
It does sound good with fuzz, case in point

El Cap sounds great in front of dirt for me. I may be doing it wrong but I don't get clear distinct repeats with high gain though. It kind of takes a back seat and just washes out, but in a really fucking excellent way. It may be the way I have mine set up though. I definitely recommend it. I had it in the spam thread for sale but I took it down. I just can't let it go. Someone posted that they wanted one to run in front of their Timefactor. I do exactly that and it sounds great.

congrats mate, these are really interesting...i've always wanted a looper but i a lot of them have too many buttons and knobs...this is my kinda pedal.
let me know what you think of it when you get a chance to play around with it.
I've also stumbled upon a pedal today that i might buy...the AMT Wah, true bypass, fuzz friendly and small footprint...anyone tried one out before? And they are relatively cheap too...thoman selling it for £80.

Spewking of the EL CAP, I cant figure out if i like it in my effects loop or in front. It seems way more powerful up front, but in the loop its softer and dreamier kind of. Where do you put yours?
whats that little guy do? (it loops

)

Can't do demos quite yet. I haven't the money to invest in recording gear. I spend it all on pedals.

I'll do a proper review though next week when it arrives.
I hate buying things on Friday. You have to wait extra.

Bah ha! Cheers man. I was just gonna link to this for a sig. I think we've all seen it. It speaks volumes.
For all us aspiring mages and seekers of the knowledge of the archaic realms beyond though,
BEHOLD!

(I know the sound is kinda crap, its the most concise clip of that I could find.)
EDIT: wow, major youtube embedding failure. I'm guessing I'm not allowed to do that yet? ah the links are there, you'll get it.
Fix'd for ya! You gotta put [ youtube ] youtube video url [ /youtube ] (with no spaces in the brackets) to get them to show up. BTW if I didn't say it before, Welcome oh wizard of the energizing brew!
Thanks, mate. I thought I had done that, but when I hit submit, it was clearly that which I did not do. (Hmmm, touch of the Yodas there)
Anyhow cheers for the welcome.
There was too much to quote in those last two pages, so I'm just gonna throw my 2c in and let it rattle around the well.
Miatas: Man, those things are tiny. And the smart cars are ridiculous as well. Although they did do a 2 door coupe sportster thing that was kinda cool from a design perspective.
Did you guys ever get the suzuki mighty boy? Now that thing is hilarious.
El cap in the loop or out front: I prefer my delay in the loop, just personally. I like the "dreamy" quality. Although I have a mig 50 now, so no loop. But it stays clean for eons, so no worries about clarity there.
True Bypass loopers: I'm poor and I built my own. Also spent my money on pedals, also feeling the pain of no recording gear. So I pov it up and use my phone, with varying results.

Ok, just did my homework. Didn't realise the ditto was a looper looper, not a true bypass. Now I feel like a pillar of ignorance.
That's crazy! How'd they make it so small? TC are coming up with some pretty bossco stuff lately. I have a trinity and a polytune, they're both quite impressive.
