Easily the most entertaining Aen video in ages! Thanks for posting that one, I couldn't stop laughing (for the right reasons of course).

You could always let them know that Biyang got there years ago with their Tri-Reverb pedal, so they should hassle them first :) Good luck!

Tickety-boo.

Oh yes, yes indeed :) I have wanted one of these for ages... definitely want to hear the demo for it when it comes out, especially if it can get lovely long attack /decay settings. I bought a tc electronic Crescendo hoping that would give these sounds, but it's a pale imitaiton of the loveliness of the EHX original.

I wonder if this will allow notes to sustain while new ones are swelled in like the HOG/POG (which sets them apart from virtually all other swell effects in pedal form). The reference to reverse tape doesn't make it seem like it will....

The original isn't really a sustainer in that sense and while this is obviously a redesign, I don't think it's really part of its repertoire, sounds more like you're describing the freeze/superego.

Yeah, true. Though my post had a huge typo, sorry, which I've fixed--I am talking about the swell function, not sustain. The Superego does do a multi-swell kinda thing (which some have referred to as "polyphonic" :idk: ) but I'm interested in something without the granular texture wrapped up in the Superego's tonal package, which seems inseparable from the swell. idk, I have to listen more to the difference between superego/pog as swell effects (as opposed to all the other stuff they do) to really know if they are doing the same thing. Anyway, this looks cool on its own merits. I had a Pigtronix Attack Sustain which was really nice but jumbotronic....

Given the degree of Instagram, etc, hype over it already, I'd knock year down to week. Can't help but feel warranty repair hell inevitable.

All that tonal flexibility seems so rad, but with those automated faders being something you wouldn’t wanna have collecting schmutz in your board
It was my first thought too. My experience with faders is that they're good because you see where they are ser easily but they're bad because they get dirty in ways one couldn't even imagine.

Plus I've broken nearly all the faders on my old POG, but that's because when I play live I practically jump on the effects.

I wager that pedal will be so expensive it won't end up on very many boards that go out into the world. If its less than a Revival Drive I would be shocked.

Board complete for my London trip. All fits in a carry on. The two smaller boards take turns running in the loop of the Psionic Triad. I really dig the Volante and I'm still figuring out the Rose so that might stay home so I don't have to think too much <g>. The Rose is super cool too. A lot in that box. DEEP. Particle 2 kicks ass. More after NAMM:

You're a criminal. You know it, right?
Jokes aside I wonder what level of madness one could reach with so many good delays on a single board.

What effects do you command with the multi-expression pedal?

Ps you should post it in the Pedalboard thread too!

Guilty with an explanation your honor! <g>

Lots of great atmospheres with this board. So much so that my wife heard me when I first finished wiring it and she said, "Whoa!. That's beautiful" and she's not musical at all.

The DB expression pedal controls the Hax 2, Tensor, Stamme(n) and Fabrikat. I wish it had two more outputs for the Particle 2 and Dark World but decisions had to be made and those two it mattered a bit less than the others. I'd also love an exp for the Volante and Rose so I'll likely be grabbing another DB but I really don't like tap dancing when I play lap steel which is why the second tier of the board is titled 20 degrees instead of the standard 13 so maybe another exp is overkill. Useful but overkill maybe. I don't need any more to think about! <g>
