This isn't a build, but it is a DIY project.
added a dc jack to a big muff and upgraded the crappy vinyl dc snap to a premium molded plastic snap.

Oh damn, I hear ya, that's a bummer. The other font would look cool for that too though, I feel. You could even keep the horse at that point, not sure if you'd still want to considering it's not all ferarri anymore.
