She poops. A LOT. I found her on the side of the road on my way home one night and none of the houses around would claim her. She had a broken leg and was missing a bunch of feathers but now she's good. She follows us around the apt and likes to cuddle, which I never would have thought a chicken would do. Now we're looking for a house so she can be inside/outside.

They can move freely in and out. But they don't like it inside. They never stay for very long. Even when it rains they prefer to hop out. The only time they really like it inside is when it's windy outside. They hate wind.

I had a pet duck once. The mother and the other ducklings got eaten by birds, and only two little ducklings survived. I raised them and they would not leave my side until they were grown up. There is a small brook close to my house with other ducks coming and going, and so I went there with them. After some time they wouldn't come back with me, but stayed at the brook. They later decided to get out in the world with the other ducks.
My point being: they pooped. Like.. all the time
