that took a month to heal?? is that your calf or your arm or where? i have tats wrapping around both my lower legs and they both took about 10 days to heal...
funny how long it took my leg hair to grow back, apparently yours did too.
also funny but sucks how much better they look w/o the fur...

I shave my legs.
It's on my calf. It was swollen to like twice its normal size for 3 days, and scabbed over for several weeks.

Not sure if I should open my own thread for this...but does anyone here design tattoos? I see some nice art in the art thread. I may be interested in getting one. I am willing to pay for your time, although I ain't rich. And if your design is not satisfactory to me and I don't like it/will not use it I will not pay for it. I don't know how the etiquette works in those types of situations. I guess some of that is based on trust?
Anyway if anyone is interested PM with some samples of your art and how the above situation may play out and if possible an estimate of what you may charge. My design would be basically designing a stylized cartoon image of a woman based on various pictures I provide you of a real woman. So, you would need to retain her likeness and add your own artistic interpretation or her.
For example

No, the Tattoo artist does the tattoo on you.

Ah, got it, thanks. English is not my native language so I appreciate the clarification.

Best way to go just find an artist who does a style similar to what you want and then have them do it for you. That way you know they can execute in on your skin and are actually more into it hopefully? Know there are lots of artist who work from exact reference with great results but why complicate the matter ? Plus lots of times it's not like you pay them to make a design for you it's included in the price so ehm yeah.

Perhaps it's a personality flaw of mine, but I like to complicate things.
