Re: Let's see your AMP!
It's from 1965-66. Dark grey Tolex that kind of looks like elephant skin. 15W, 12" speaker, reverb, and tremolo. There are 3 inputs: Mellow, Bright, and Stereo. Not entirely sure what Stereo does, but the Mellow and Bright are different enough that I've considered getting an A/B box so I can switch between them. 6 knobs: Volume, Bass, Treble, Rate, Depth, and Reverberation. The tremolo is nice, subtle, and pretty musical. I use an Idiotbox Mad Doctor for more extreme tremolo, anyway, so it is nice to have a subtler effect. The reverb is where it really shines. Ghostly and dark, it sounds menacing when I play Angelo Badalementi style arpeggios. It uses 2 EL34 tubes for power. Mine sadly lacks the footswitch, but otherwise it is in pretty good shape. Because the reverb can get so wet, I'm half tempted to use it purely as a reverb unit for stereo playing. It takes fuzz like a champ.friendship wrote:Tell me more, friend.chuckjaywalk wrote:60's Epiphone EA 22-RVT Mighty Mite
