Had a few minutes tonight so I tuned my Baritone Jazzmaster down to Bass VI but then dropped the low E to make Bass VI drop D tuning:

HELL YEAH. I'm digging it even at 28 5/8's. I don't think I'll go up to a thicker gauge either, I kind of like the lack of string tension

Got it and a 1950s(?) copy of a Gregory Mark V for $50 from an old lady who said it used to be her husband's...

You can see on the second fret where it was played the most, the fretboard's scalloped from pressure. The fancy switches don't work and probably haven't in a long time. But they're cool.
I stupidly stupidly stupidly messed around with the amp and it's currently not functioning...although it would be easy to get it going again. Needs a 3-prong cord though.
