This thread almost ended me coming to ILF. No joke. Then I got over it and just ignored it for awhile. Now I can post, but I just don't say everything that comes into my head. I needed that anyway.

Yeah, there's a reason most forums avoid talk of religion and/or politics. We aren't most forums though. We're stupider and more mature than they are all at the same time. I figured anyone who's easily butthurt'd stay away from this thread. I'm glad the discourse here has been relatively civil throughout and the thread has weathered for the duration of the election season.

I think the racism thing might be a good thing, we had the supreme court recently saying racism was a thing of the pst and fox news [and others] tried to use the idea to sweep people and their issues under the carpet. This shit needs to be brought out in the open, the dialogue needs to continue if we are to ever put this shit truly behind us.

The Neo Liberals need to be seem for what they are and we need to understand they do not have the majority of middle to left thinking people's best interests, they just use nice catch phrases to get people to go along with hot trendy issues that keep them in power and obscure the corporate/old money control that they truly support. A lot of us Have never really liked these people or what they actually do with the power we end up giving them because they are the lesser of the two evils.

Maybe enough people are mad enough now to take a good hard look at voter reform, ballot standardization, eliminating/or at least fixing electronic voting, you know fixing the election system so it functions the way it is intended to, and looking strengthening the laws on campaign finance.

Maybe it's time for all the lefties to get it that one movement, one umbrella, one party, one voice will actually help them active all their pet causes as the conservatives have where being against the rich is against god, being against guns is against america and taxes are against god gold and guns and it will force you to have an abortion.

Maybe Trump is what people need to understand what a lot of people go through in less decadent, spoiled, entitled countries and we will grow and stop rewarding purposeful self ignorance about the people around us and the world as a whole.

Maybe more people will actually try to keep informed and not rely on what the people on the TV tell them.

Maybe nothing will really happen. Or maybe we will get to live in a madmax world for real, no more jobs, no more homework just riding around on a spiky truck being all badass.

as I have said in here many times, we get what we deserve based on what we act on or what we let happen
