Oh not much, just some KICKASS DUAL PEDALS:

Image

Dwarfcraft Doom On You, Dwarfcraft ECT/Shiva combo, and Tap Tempo Tremolo + Gristleizer. Awesome noises have ensued. Having both Dwarfcrafts is a little redundant, so I'll probably be flipping the Doom On You even faster than jwar did.

Hey! :picard:

That pedal fucking rocks!

Aww, jk dude. Indeed it does rock, and I like the Hair of The Dog on bass a bit more than the ECT, but overall I find the ECT lots more versatile, so :idk: .

And just for the record, the combined awesomeness of those two Dwarfcraft pedals was too much for my bass :omg: :omg: :omg: or I just fucked up my input jack in the excitement. I was playing through the Doom On You, then I was like "OH MAN HOW AWESOME WOULD THESE SOUND STACKED," and then it was indeed fantastic, and then everything went all PFFFFFTfzzizzzlesputsputbzzzzzzzzz and further picking produced only silence. Thought I killed the ECT or something, but then I plugged my guitar in and it was happy fun times again.

The two knobs being so close together on that bottom one is seriously bothering me.
Yeah, I get bothered by knobs touching. Hot and bothered.

Erukusu - didja get that bass assembled yets? murrrrrrrrrrr?

Yussles. You like HIGH action, dontcha? So do I, but up high, it's pretty high up derr. Another funny thing..I've been using exclusively actives for a few years now..and this guy's passive. Not..used..to..softer..volumes. Maybe seeking a mini buffer. Someone was supposed to send me one, I thought. Huh.

Lotsa incoming stuff soon. OH BOY.

naw. i just never used that enough to get around to setting it up right. plus, neck off probably fucked with the action a bit. i keep the action decently low on my basses i play a lot.

and yeah.... i'm not into active basses that much. the Dinger has a reaaaallllly hot output for a passive, but into onboard eq's. i think.... i like my knobs.... to be on the ground. for me to step on. and turn them on. yesh, it's a Dick On The Floor analogy. it's early. that's the best i got right now. don't judge me.

meeeeew.

Hartman LM308 distortion came in today: So Flipping Sweet, and not as big as I thought it was which is awesome, not sure why I thought it was a huge pedal.

Sounds great through my blues Jr and makes me want to use a neck pickup once in a while.

neh. i gotsa an M9 and.... i've played with the prototype Expressionator. it doesna work with the M series stuff, becauae they oddly made it a different than normal interface. which doesn't bug ME that much, the M9 will let you use one exp pedal for up to 3 patches, so that's fine.

i ended up picking up an EHX Holy Stain. pretty cool actually. i'm just biding time till that store gets my Prometheus Dlx in. THAT thing has me hard as kittens. rarrrrrr.

prob'ly gonna end up returning the 'Stain towards paying that big expenditure off. maybe not though. this thing IS pretty cool for $130.

and i fucking HATE EX stuff usually.
