How’s that context v 2 treating you? I have heard a few mixed things....typical stuff of waiting for upgrade and manual.whoismarykelly wrote:

I feel you on the Pigtronix, especially the old Infinity.

Been a couple of big downsizing weeks, so this is the revised/reduced board (for now).

I really like it. I don't have any complaints. It does big reverbs really well and the sound quality is stellar. It does some things the DW doesn't so they make a good pairing. I tend to use it for either really huge cathedral verbs or a nice spring. DW does the gen loss thing and plate for when I want distorted verb.cosmicevan wrote:How’s that context v 2 treating you? It bothers me how the EQ and Polytune mess up the top-mounted jack game.Dowi wrote:Been a couple of big downsizing weeks, so this is the revised/reduced board (for now).
Other than that it is a superb board

Thanks!retinal orbita wrote:Also really like the psychedelic EQ! Very fun!!!
If only there was room for my re-decorated POG.. It was the real psychedelic when looking down at the board.
It bothers me too.. Too damn much. But the EQ has been with me forever and it's just super simple and efficient for the use I have for it (low-mid volume boost), and honestly I don't want to spend money for a new tuner.Schlatte wrote: It bothers me how the EQ and Polytune mess up the top-mounted jack game.![]()
I get what you're saying about usage/sound. Usually that's my main purpose too, every time I reorganize the board the first thing I have in my mind is how can I avoid tap dancing putting the pedals in the most efficient way for my feet, even if this means to wire everything in complicated ways, so that's the main reason I have everything lined up etc.. To ease the movesBlackened Soul wrote:Dowi wrote:Altrady said, but I love the variety in your board.I think what that really is is I've been doing this [using pedals] for so long that I just don't care about anything other than usage and sound, and where nothing gets in my way while playing, everything has to be seamless
I can't be bothered with the lining up or not having weird power usage or in order.. I'm really always amazed by boards like yours because of how nice and organized they are

Re-Pigetronix: I was bummed when the infinity 2 came out and I saw that the 2-independent channels haven't been kept,as it's one of the best features of the original one (along a lot of other cool things, so far it's the best looper I d like to have for my needs if/when I get the chance). I really don't have any use of the verse/chorus sequential loops thing.
