Looks mo' purple in this pic:

All my purplish & pinkish buds in one place. I think the Maxon is like a metallic rose, whereas the acid Warped Vinyl is like a swirled purple flake. The bottom plate on the Vinyl is darker and looks like a galactic telescope photo. Perhaps sometime I'll try to capture these in the sunlight.

It controls the internal volume pot.
The fella I purchased it from had it done (by Joel)
Like most knobs, it sounds best when dimed.

That's a useful mod. The volume can drastically change between settings. I kinda wished for an external volume control. I may have Joel mod mine.
