We, actually, have a Bug-A-Salt! Works best on flies. I doubt it'd much effective on roatches.

Dude, that's a match pistol. It's also an airgun. You can tell because of the pressure gauge at the front. That big tube is the air reservoir. It wouldn't be much of a match pistol if it weren't designed to be accurate and shit. :idk:

Also, blakestree's right about that salt gun. I think I'd need armor piercing salt to take on those roaches. :engarde:

I'm not sure if we ever did another thread about other things than lame ass guns but this fits here because I say so.

I have been doing a lot of thinking about what you can actually do with a crossbow design wise and while the $12.00 50lb pistol one is fun it is not accurate. So I finally found a deal on a old jayhalk kit crossbow from the 60s

that I'll have to rebuild but they have IMO the best trigger design I've seen. More them likely I will have to fix the deck on it and I am going to change the prod out for a medieval style prod.

I also want to experiment with using rubber as part of the string so you can get more acceleration with less actual draw weight...

So I got this... basket case... it looks like someone tried to chisel a medieval crossbow trigger set up into a modern one.. looks like it blew it up too.. still this was cheap .. cheaper than buying a new trigger assembly from the recreation dudes.. just have to remove who knows how many years of rust.. If you want a P38, look hard at the unissued P1s that are out there.

Postwar, but in pristine shape with box and magazines. If you're going to shoot one, that'd be what I'd pick up (I have one still, I had a couple at one point to flip when they dried up and did).

There are "better" guns out there, to be sure, but it's got a particular elegance in how it handles and recoil.

Closest modern in trigger feel and recoil impulse are the original Sig/Sauer P-series stuff (P225/220/226) with the folded steel slides.
