yeah I really like that green. I might try and replicate that look again on my next small batch
my painting method is pretty random/chaotic. like I grab a couple primary colors then go nuts, but as I go I'll change my mind and find new color combos and end up with something different from what I intended.

I'm starting on two new designs this month. excited because I haven't worked on anything new since 2012!

I dont know if its way to early to tell, but what kind of features/price are you looking at for the drone machine?

I seem to remember you saying something about 8 oscillators with multiple wave forms?

I don't know, I keep changing my mind in the details.

Like arranged in oscillator pairs. That pair could ringmod/fm/am/pm itself. Each osc would have independent shape and tuning control. Maybe I could have one osc modulate the shape of another within that pair. Throw in a resonant VCF in that pair. Then, I'm thinking I could have 4 or 6 pairs! That's a whole lotta oscs and filters! Each pair output could be mixed and panned to a stereo output. Through in a noise generator in there somewhere. The oscillators would be digital. With the microcontrollers I use, I can easily do each pair of oscillators in code, with all the different kinds of modulation. Filter would be analog.

But right now I want to make my long delay and osctave fuzz thing. The fuzz thing is already breadboarded, the PCB designed, fabbed and in the mail, so it's just a matter of assembling it when it arrives! For the delay, still some R&D though I expect it to be fast. I'm not going into unknown waters with it. Roughly same hardware as the anti-nautilus, and programming wise it'll be far simpler. The hard part will be getting the filters right so I can get the drony feedback/self oscillation I really want.

PDS-8000 inspired. +modulation +greater time range +two different kinds of echo decay +hold mode +reverse (probably)

Hahaha

Who would knowingly destroy the value of a pedal and then try to resell it for such a profit. What a dip shit.

Ten bucks says someone on here knows this person. :)

I don't really care, honestly. I'm more confused and perplexed. Personally I'm not fond of huge resell increases like this, but once they buy it, they can technically do what they want (short of 1-to-1 cloning it and selling it as their own original creation).

... I'd still consider getting it, maybe sand it sand it out of its misery. *shame*

Will the upcoming delay have speed/pitch controls for the loop? Can they be separate?

1. yes, just as in the oldschool digital/analog delays. fucking around with the delay time changes the pitch/speed.

2. changing the speed without changing the pitch is quite a bit more involved. I do have a way of doing it (the antinautilus can do it), but it's not clean. and I don't know yet if I can "plug" that function in this design. I'm still waiting on my prototyping pcbs. all I've been doing so far is theory. also, I'm not building a looper. merely a PDS-inspired delay with looping. if non-pitch-shifting time-stretching makes the design too complicated or turns it into something it isn't (like yet another kind of anti nautilus), I might drop the idea. I just want to build a delay to replace my ailing PDS-8000, with a few extras I wish it had.
